i'm sorry you're allowing him to use you..what is it you don't see..put his things out now...do you want to continue to be his doormat..forget getting your money back do you have any evidence he owes you this money..if yes go to small claims court better yet take the loss and learn from this lesson donot allow yourself to be used by a boyfriend until you know better..

Call him up leave a message with " ok if you do not contact me about your stuff by X date im going to sell it or toss it out"

If he calls tell him what you have to tell him about oweing you etc...
If he doesnt call toss his crap. Or have a yard sale take the money you make towards what he owes you.
Make sure you give him adequate time to respond to your message/voice mail . Like 1 week. If he cant call you back within a wekk I guess he doesnt want his stuff.

What you dont sell send it to good will or some salvation army type place get a reciept in case he trys to take you to court and when you leave a message write down the time and the date and what you said.....document EVERYTHING! FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY (monitarily speaking of course)
Good Luck and make tons of cash selling his stuff. You go girl

unless you have a written agreement or a multiple witness you really can't do anything, because you can easily take him to court and that would take care of the problem but the expense on that is alot. I suggest you forget about it, I know it doesnt help and if he hasnt asked for his stuff back sell it, besides it been two year and if he denis being there by not paying, then he is also denying that the stuff he left is his.

Have a garage sale, make you money that he owes you, he can't do a single thing about it, the law says possession is 9 tenths of the law, and anything left on your property for 31 days is legally yours and have rights to do what you see fit, to acquire your storage fees.

sell it all, by law you own all of that stuff now, you probibly will not get 2000, out of it, but it will be gone and so will he, plus a little money in your pocket. and after 2 yrs he don't need it any more.Than move on, It sounds like he has.

Three words-Small Claims Court
Pack up everything you have on him, write down all the items he owes you, etc...and go file. Do it now because it will take some time but don't let him get away with it! I did that with and I totally regret it!

Send him a letter saying that if he hasn't paid you and picked up his stuff by a certain date (give him a month), you'll sell it all.

Take your letter to the post office and have it sent "return receipt requested." That means he'll have to sign for it, and you'll receive a record that he signed for it. Then he won't be able to tell you later that he didn't get your warning.

Take him to small claims court and give him a written letter that his stuff will be removed from you house in 90 days

Take him to court. I hope you have some kind of proof that he wanted you to store those things...if not- record one phone call where he states that he wanted you to store those things. The fact that he never bothered getting his things in those two years makes me think that he wouldn't have cared, if you dumped them the very next day after he left..

Forget him....Sell all of his stuff on ebay or craigslist! That will teach him to leave his stuff at your place rent free!
