Help me out if I am seeing this wrong here, Muslims Holy book is the Koran, and that is their guideline for living and following their religion, right? The Koran commands muslims to kill non-muslims and I still hear people whining that they are muslims and they dont want to be associated with killers. How can you claim to follow islam without following the koran? part of following the koran killing infidels, or atleast supporting that action.

Either you are a muslim and you support and follow the ideals of your religion(making you a killer) or your not, you cant have both.

Citings from your Koran...waiting for your explanation....

Koran 5:33

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land Is: Execution, or Crucifixion, or the Cutting and Removing Off of hands and feet from OPPOSITE sides, or exile from the land: That is their disgrace in this world and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter."

Regarding infidels, they are the Muslim’s “undoubted enemies” (Sura 4:101)

Seize them and slay them wherever you find them. (Sura 4:90).

Strike off the head of the infidels. Cut off every finger tip (Sura 8:12)

If a Muslim does not go to war, Allah will punish him (Sura 9:39).

Sounds to me like you guys are not really reading this book too well

The Qu'ran is presented as an entire truth.
You believe all of it, or none of it.

It does not present a menu of doctrine from which you can pick and choose your own beliefs.

Muslim? Then you must support all that the Qu'ran states, even the directive to kill non-believer/infidels.

first off..The Bible commands christians to forgive and love, I don't know where anyone gets that from the New Testament that we should kill anyone..
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
WHAT COULD BE PLAINER THAT THAT AND I COULD FILL THE PLACE WITH POSTINGS THAT SAY THE SAME..

Yes the muslims need to face it that their book preaches peace and unity only when both are Muslims. They don't seem able to live that but it does.. For the infidels we are to be put to death if we choose not to convert or pay the head tax they order..

They really need to choose and go one way or the other.. Something peaceful or Islam. Sad but true.. They want to kill the Pope for his quote. Ridiculous, but it can not be denied. Anyone who speaks against them they try to kill.. The guy who wrote the book in England. The Lady politician in Holland.. The list just goes on and on..

As stated in the Koran, God knows there will always be people who will try to work against the propagation of His Word. Such people will attack the Prophet, the Koran and the Moslem Umma, using all means available, including defamation, desecration and open warfare. Moslems in such circumstances are supposed to fight back, showing no weakness or fear.

II suppose you can make any claim about the bible or the koran without having read either text.

The Bible commands Christians to kill non Christians also. Most Christians reject that part of the Bible just as most Muslims reject that part of the Koran. I wish all these religions would see that they are all the SAME.

you don't know what you are talking about!!
the Quran DOESNT tell us to kill non Muslims moron.

it allows us to defend our self in case of an Invasion. as a Muslim American, I'm commanded to fight if America was to be invaded by foreign Army.
this is the ONLY killing that's justified. you are commanded to turn the left cheek, it doesn't work. when you Christians get attacked you attack right back and break the commandments of Jesus. we are allowed to defend our selves without breaking the commandments of God. that's the difference.
-------------
the first verse you have there is clearly talking about the punishment for those who cause mischief in the land and attack Allah and his messengers. why do you wanna attack God and his messengers? and if you do then you deserve this punishment.
the second part is ALL out of context you obviously copied it from one of those propaganda website and didn't even give yourself the time to read the verse in it's fullness and the verses before and after. so your argument goes right down the drain.
---------------------------

no you're wrong again idiot. the punishment for those who attack Muslims and attack God and his messengers is a FAIR punishment. and like i said read the verses before and after those verses you quote out of context. and i follow what's in the Quran whether YOU or any bodyelse like it or NOT.

seems that you people forget too fast! what happened in the inquisition do you remmber? what happened in the crusades? do you remember your history? why dont you criticize what's in the old testament?? WARS, RAPE, MURDER, SLAVERY, GENOCIDES?? clean your own neighborhood first you loser.

See, you are right about something. Yes, we are to follow Qur'an, and we do. However we do not follow erroneous claims that the Quran commands us to kill non-Muslims. We are smarter than that. Plus we can read.

So in your claim "Either you are a muslim and you support and follow the ideals of your religion(making you a killer) or your not, you cant have both" you only make an *** of yourself. Why? Because, as I said above, Quran does not command me to kill anyone. No matter how many times xenophobes and islamophopbes shout "Islam is a violent religion!" doesn't make it true. Now, until you can find proof that it is, you can continue to make such assanine remarks, but don't expect people to start falling to your feet chanting "we're not worthy!" It's not likely to happen anytime soon. The best advice I can give to you at this point is to stop being such a gullible puppet and use that brain God gave you to do good in society.

60:8-9 "As for such [of the unbelievers] as do not fight against you on account of [your] faith, and neither drive you forth from your homelands, God does not forbid you to show them kindness and to behave towards them with full equity: for, verily, God loves those who act equitably. God only forbids you to turn in friendship towards such as fight against you because of [your] faith, and drive you forth from your homelands, or aid [others] in driving you forth: and as for those [from among you] who turn towards them in friendship; it is they, they who are truly wrongdoers!"

9:6 “And if anyone of the Mushrikoon (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) seeks your protection then grant him protection so that he may hear the Word of Allah (the Qur’an) and then escort him to where he can be secure”

3:64 "Say: O People of the Scripture. Come to an agreement between us and you: that we shall worship none but Allah, and that we shall ascribe no partners unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside Allah. And if they turn away, then say: Bear witness that we are they who have surrendered (unto Him)."

5:8 "O YOU who have attained to faith! Be ever steadfast in your devotion to God, bearing witness to the truth in all equity; and never let hatred of any-one lead you into the sin of deviating from justice. Be just: this is closest to being God-conscious. And remain conscious of God: verily, God is aware of all that you do."

16:125 "CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner- for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who have been guided."

18:29 And say: "The truth [has now come] from your Sustainer: let, then, him who wills, believe in it, and let him who wills, reject it."

2:256 Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

42:48 But if they turn away [from thee, O Prophet, know that] We have not sent thee to be their keeper: thou art not bound to do more than deliver the message [entrusted to thee]. And, behold, [such as turn away from Our messages are but impelled by the weakness and inconstancy of human nature: thus,] when We give man a taste of Our grace, he is prone to exult in it; but if misfortune befalls [any of] them in result of what their own hands have sent forth, then, behold, man shows how bereft he is of all gratitude!
