I'm male and want to dye my red hair jet black. Is this possible and what will I do with my eyebrows?

I,m hoping women will find me more attractive as a dark-haired guy. Is this true or just a myth?

well i honestly don't think u should dye ur hair coz u think women find dark haired men more attractive. a lot of my friends like light haired guys. do it if u want to but make sure u get it done by a professional and that goes for the eyebrows too. don't try to dye ur eyebrows urself. a lot of hair color products contain ammonium which can cause blindness. so consult ur hair stylist on which product u should use.

If you go darker then do a dark brown....NEVER jet black unless you have naturally very dark hair allready. Black does not fade well and is verrrrry hard to correct. But seeing as you are male you could just shave it all off I guess or wait on it to grow out.
Chances are if you have red hair you prob have fair skin. Not always good with black hair. You may get the Goth look. (which is not attractive). Go for a chocolate brown and go to a professional.

Also if you are going to dye the eyebrows have a pro do it. You can hurt yourself if you do it at home and make a mistake. Alot of salons wont even do it due to the risks.

There is eyebrow powder you can buy but well considering once again that you are male...just dont let your friends find it : )

It is possible. Black dye will cover any color hair. You'll want to make sure that you keep up with it though or you'll have black hair and red roots. You should put some color on your eyebrows too cause you dont want black hair and red eyebrows. Make it look as real as possible.

It's not a problem, but I think red hair is sexy and you should just highlight it or try a brown instead of jet black. And if you do dye it black you will have to dye your eyebrows also but be careful because black dye will be hard to get out of your skin if it drips or run while you rinsing it out.

Don't do it. No matter what, DO NOT dye you eyebrows. They look completely ridiculous when they grow out, and there's nothing you can do about it. And if you dye your hair and not your eyebrows you'll still look weird. The only alternative is to dye your hair but color your brows with eyeshadow or liner (so you can wash it off instead of letting it grow out). You'll have to do this every day and always be worried about smudging them.

Yes, this is possible but I highly suggest not dying your eyebrows too. When your hair grows out your eyebrows will look funny and when you first dye your hair your eyebrows may grow out a bit and cause a two-coloured eyebrow effect.

Talk to a stylist first or you can be brave and just go to a place that sales professional hair products and do it your self but before you do your eyebrows you have to have the right type of dye for that. you can not use the same on your hair and eye brows.

omg .. dont do that !! I'm a red head too .. i dyed my hair Black about 6 years ago .. an it looked like Crap !! Reds usually have too Fair of skin for such a Dark Color hair. But if you Must .. Dye your eyebrows too , so you dont look too funny

I agree with those that say go lighter. Like a strawberry blond, blond, or light brown. That is if your pale. Otherwise you'll look like your wearing a Halloween costume! Haha! I guess it is that time of year :P But, seriously don't go black if your pale. Good Luck :) By the way, I like all hair colors...red, black, blond....do what makes you feel most comfortable. if your hair is red then your skin tone is probably very light. Black may not be the right color for you. why don't you go with a blond or light brown. but if you really want to go black then color your eyebrows too.
