Alot of erroneous assumptions inherent in your question. Simply because God cannot die does not mean that there are infinite Gods, which is what you are implying by saying there are "infinite number of possibilities for what God is." Yes, there may be infinite possibilities, but there is only one reality.
You claim there is no one true religion. This claim is based upon no evidence that you present, other than the erroneous assumption that I mentioned above. Therefore this claim also is without merit.
The fact that a religion is focused on spreading itself does not have anything to do with whether or not it is true, nor is it a "fallacy" of the religion. In fact, it is just the opposite. Religions that proselytize tend to grow over time.

You are assuming the God is held to physical laws, that makes no sense.
God created the universe, people see the universe as infinite in time (some do) but it is silly to think so. But it is very old and sense God created everything that has every been created including the physical laws he had to be outside those laws.
Nothing is created without a cause . Nothing comes from nothing. If the universe created itself or just came together over vast amounts of time then why has there not been something that appeared in your living room or mine or anyone. Say you leave for work and get home and an elephant has made a mess in your floor, never happened because it can't happen within our physical laws.
Your wisdom is foolishness in Gods eyes (no offense), you may wish to reconsider what you are looking for and give Jesus a try.

God being infinite is a little vague: God's power is infinite; he is omni - everything. But he is still God. Who and what he is has no bearing on our religions, so to speak. There is no variance in God, only humans. God doesn't change as religions see him, he stays the same. For whatever reasons, we chose to see him how we want to see him. If we are in trouble, we see him as our only source of help. When we are doing well, we may think of him as a nuisance and wish he would go away.
Is there a right religion? Sure. Which one is it? It is the one where he is first in your life; he becomes first when you accept him as your Savior and ask him into your heart.
Just because there are a bunch of different religions, doesn't mean there are a bunch of different Gods. I mean I suppose one could believe that way, but like I said, God doesn't change, we do.
Pray about it, and take care!

one more answer...
The fallacy is that your infinity implies compliance with physical laws, and that could lead to argument that there is no right or wrong period. There are answers.
Creation battles entropy, but God trumps all as He is beyond conception and has all the universe between His finger tips.
The answer is FAITH an understanding beyond the evidence. I have called many names, but only Jesus answered. It is not religion, it is a relationship- can we conceive the inconceivable through other names? Some will call on him and He will say I never knew you, but does that mean that if I get His name wrong, He won't understand? I hope so, because I remember the face and heart of a person, and often forget their name.

I do not believe there is any one 'right' religion.
I do not believe anyone has a monopoly on the truth.
However, I do believe there are many religions that push people AWAY from God, rather than drawing them closer to God.
It's not so much a matter of 'right' and 'wrong'.... it's more a matter of what works. If your religion causes you to be paranoid, judgmental, fearful, angry, or violent, it is NOT doing you any good. If your religion is divisive and requires you to bet the souls of others on YOUR beliefs by converting them, then it does not 'work' to promote peace and harmony in the world.
I believe diversity is a wonderful thing and I believe we're all in this together.
It bothers me that many religions suggest we either wait around complacently for God to step in and fix everything or--worse yet--take up arms and go kill the enemy in his name. I believe God would be a helluva lot more proud if the human race woke up tomorrow, set aside our differences, pooled our knowledge and resources and created a Utopia for all mankind.

You certainly jump around with your argument..
Infinite number of possibilities what God is..
One God and HE is (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) not what, but who
Every religion can't be right, they are all different just as every car can not be a Honda.
Jesus said I am the way, truth, and life and NO MAN comes to the Father but by me.. pretty esclusive..
You are very confused...

False logic. Yes, God is infinite in power and lifespan, but that doesn't mean he has more than one character.
There is one true religion; that's the one that tells us Who God REALLY is. The one that came from Him, not from man.
When you know this for sure, you have a responsibility to tell everyone else.

I believe religion only serves to dictate how one worships. The ones I can think of readily all believe in a higher power who has the ability to cause change in our reality. I also firmly believe there is no right or wrong way to worship, as long as it is done in faith and with respect.

God created Man and then Man created religion.
All the hatred and bigotry in religion is an arguement about the Prophet, not about God.
