Drink plenty of fluids...especially juices and water. They flush out the toxins. Eat citrus fruit for vitamin C. Colds last 7 to 10 days.

As well as the usual advice of drinking plenty of fluids and getting lots of rest, also eat lots of zinc. There are cough drops and nose sprays with zinc added. The brand name stuff is called "Zicam." Try it, and believe me, it works!
