You can't. That takes training and practice. Nobody could tell you how to do it over the internet. And most hairdressers wouldn't even attempt to cut their own hair.

Why you want to use a razor? all you need to do for layers is turn your head to the front up side down brush your hair in place wet is better and cut right across with shears , you know like you can see exactly what youre doing in front of you when you get your head back you should have the layers , that easy

Trinity, u have to stop with the self help ! A razor is a skill and you can't do that. If you really want to get a particular look disregard my previous instructions and go to the salon.

ok.. just get layers done, and buy yurslef a ROLLER BRUSH, then just use it to flip yur ends out by running the brush through yur hair in a specific way.... just experiment....
