To substitute, use 2 cups mini-marshmallows,

When I was growing up my sisters and I would make fudge and then put mini marshmellows in it. We called it rocky road. what we did is made the fudge and we would freeze the marshmellows the night before then we let the fudge cool down for a bout 5 minutes. then we poured the fudge over the forzen marshmellow and then we spread it out into a pan. You can add nuts I just don't like the texture with nuts.
