Sounds like you are looking for a relationship, and he isn't. If you already know from the beginning that right now he is not able to give you what you are wanting, then I would move on and get to know someone else. Investing your time on someone who is at your level and who is seeking the same thing as you are is really the best idea. About the current guy that you are talking to, if you like hanging out with him, you don't have to dumb him altogether. Being friends and going out "occasionally" sounds great...just don't expect too much out of him, and seek what you want from somewhere else.

Best hopes to you!

There are a lot of interesting guys in the world keep looking why would you want to waste your time on someone who clearly has another agenda. Keep looking don't waste your time on someone who is not looking for the same things as you. By doing that you are keeping the available space full and the one that may be the right one cannot get a chance. I would say NEXT!

You can keep hanging out with him if you are honest with yourself that he probably doesn't want a relationship. Make sure you don't start reading into things and protect your heart. If you just came out of a 2 year relationship, you should be taking some time to just be yourself anyhow. Just relax and take things a day at a time, get used to being single, and things will naturally fall into place if you don't force them. Good luck!

keep going out and see what happens like he said - but don't get too upset if it fizzles out - it may just be his way of letting you down easy - follow his lead -he's in the driver's seat now - you'll have to wait & see how often he calls and how often he sees you - that should be a good indicator of what his real intentions are - if you are not happy with the situation move on - you haven't really invested that much time into this new guy.

You just got out of a relationship so having a boyfriend should be the last thing that you want you need to take time out for yourself and just date around until you feel like you are ready to be with someone

Well, If you enjoy his company there is no harm in spending time with someone. At least he was straight forward with you. You could say see ya, If your interested in a relationship. He is trying to string you along. Make sure you set your standards to him. Tell him how you feel.

Sounds like he is saying he's up for a friends with benefits relationship. If you are up for a friends with benefits relationship too, then I'd say stick around. If you are looking for a boyfriend or mate, something with more commitment, you should move on.

Hell to the naw! Don't waste anymore time. Be with someone who wants to be in a committed relationship. We men do this "lets see what happens" stuff to give women false hope and get in her drawers. Don't waste your time. Move on and find a man that wants to be with you. Also, don't put out so quickly.

It all depends on what you want. Do you want to wait around and wait for him to decide whether he wants a girlfriend? If you dont mind waiting, then continue seeing him.

But if your feelings are strong, and you would like more from him, then I think it would be best to leave. Because as time goes by, you might want him more and more. Then if he decides he does not want anything serious, you had set yourself up to get hurt.
