If the guy cheats or gets mad because the girl won't sleep with him then it's not the right relationship. You should never feel as though you are expected to have sex!

It depends on how much the couple are committed to each other and how much they truly love one another. If the guy needs to cheat then he is not the right guy for her. If he wishes to force the issue then he is not the right guy for her either. She deserves a man who will honor her and care for her feelings and how she stands on her morality. Any fully grown man would appreciate a woman who stands firm in her convictions. It shows a level of personal integrity which will continue into the marriage. If he is still a boy, one who does not understand this, does she really want to be with him?

Perhaps it's possible with some guys - some guys have very low sex drives. Personally though, I couldn't imagine staying in a long term relationship with no sex. I wouldn't cheat, but I'd end the relationship and go find somebody else.

I imagine that's true of most guys.

It is very rare for a relationship to survive without some form of sex. I don't think people would agree with me, but I think that sex is one of the most important parts of a relationship. Little or no sex usually indicates a lack of emotional connection, and other deeper troubles in the relationship.

That really depends on the guy. If he has christian values and belief system and wants to wait till marriage to be sexually intimate then no he would not cheat on you. Please don't compromise yourself and sleep with someone just to keep the relationship, that is not a relationship worth having.

I think you really need to ask yourself how important not sleeping with your partner is to you.

I myself am very shy and emotionally, intimacy (physical or not) is hard for me. Its been an issue in past relationships for me and after a lot of blaming myself for my partners cheating on me or for breaking up with me; I had to learn that my beliefs, feelings and comfort in a relationship are more important then having sex because my boyfriend wanted to.

Ask yourself whats more important and trust your feelings.

If you have already slept together, then you STOP sleeping together and you don't talk about why - then the communication has died.

You can't have a relationship without communication.

It depends on the relationship. However, for the most part if you aren't getting along sexually it was probably not meant to be.
