Oatmeal is very nutritious. High in fiber and a good source of protein.

If you bake substitute 1/4 to 1/2 cup of oats for flour in your recipes.

In cookies and muffins use 1/2 oat and 1/2 flour.

In dinner dishes use oatmeal instead of bread in your meatloaves and meatballs.

Eating it for breakfast is great in the winter. I bring about in inch of water to a boil and then pour in about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of oats in. I let it boil a second or two and then reduce to a simmer. This way my oatmeal is not goopy.

You can eat a bowl of it at breakfast. Other than that, the two most common ways I've seen it used are as a filler for meat loaf and in cookies.

Oatmeal is wonderfully versatile. Have it as hot cereal in the morning.
Make some muffins.
Make some scones or cookies.
Use it in meatloaf or meatballs in place of bread crumbs.
