James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Deeper Thought: What seemingly bad happening in your life proved to be a good happening as it drew you closer to the Lord or brought about a better gift from the Lord.
Example: Being treated poorly by an employer driving you out of what seemed like the 'perfect job' only to discover that you ended up with an even better career path with far more opportunity.

These are not my words, but those of God and if you choose to take issue with them, then do take issue with the Author Himself. As for me, I am simply the messenger and there is nothing I can do to soothe your concerns or inquiries beyond sharing. May the God of all perfect gifts grant you the perfect gift of sight and hearing and knowing all His heavenly truths which He desires for you to know.

dreamgirl: Praise God Almighty from whom all blessings flow! What a wonderful story, in spite of your loss and struggle. The refiners fire is an amazing gift and from your story it seems you are getting pretty sparkly before the Lord. Keep the faith and your eyes on Jesus. And I will see you at the end of the race while we praise, together our Lord on HIgh. :)

daleswife: I am sorry for your losses, but praise God that you were brought closer to the Lord who has granted your babes their glorified bodies in heaven whom you shall one day meet and hug with great joy, just as King David who also lost his infant son.
Sin entering into the world has brought about a series of causes and effects that have brought us great suffering, but praise God in His infinite wisdom and patience that He allows us to walk even a sorrowful path if that is what it might take to bring us to our knees and cry out, "Save me Lord." Just as a parent allows a child to learn from trials, so our Heavenly Father allows us to learn such difficult lessons. You are an amazing testimony to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords that you can keep your eyes on Jesus in these hours of sorrow and great need.

That is exactly what happened to me I am from New Orleans ( where I couldnt get a job for anything) after the hurricane I moved to Mississippi. I have never encountered blatant racism as most people in New Orleans are black or mixed. My employer was racist at my new job. She treated me awful the whole time and on my last day she came in laughing and smilling and I got a call telling me it was my last day. I cried because I had never experienced that before and I was really hurt. A few weeks later I got a job working for the state I have better benefits, a bigger office(much bigger than hers), great pay, great benefits, and the nicest most helpful people. I can retire in 20 years if God keeps me here, I'll be 41. God really blessed me as he does everyday.

Ive had a great year and i hope you have too :) too many things in life we take for granted and we should be glad just to be able to walk or talk or just to have fun and enjoy life and nature.

Men wrote the Bible. I've lost a lot of good friends this year. The a**holes are still walking around. When my mother had cancer, people all over the world were praying for her. She had dedicated her life to the church. She died a long painful death.

First I thank God for giving me Life, Second I Thank God for giving me Salvation, Let me put this in a Bold way, I Thank God because I know things could be much worse than they are for all of us, except those who are spending eternity in Hell and there is nothing worse than that. Thank You God Amen

Take an prolonged walk off a short cliff you mendacity rat. yet that grew to become right into a particularly stable shaggy dog tale. did no longer make me snigger in spite of if it grew to become into unique.

That the ministry that the Lord has handed me is going according to HIS schedule and not mine. My schedule is always a mess.
