Hi... I have pale yellow walls.... beige carpet and oak furniture... I am lost about what color couch to put in our living room. We have a wonderful bay window that pours in morning sunlight. Any help please would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

What a lot of the decorator show's on HGTV suggest .. (like some of your responses said) is to go with a neutral color, and then you can change the look anytime you'd like with the pillows that you add.

Take me for example.. :o/ ... I have "country checks" (light blue & white) on both the couch and the loveseat.

It's great furniture.. but I'm "checked out" after a few years of it! My next couch & loveseat will be a neutral (beige or sage green) .. probably a corduroy material ... and super comfortable.

I learned my lesson the hard way... I wish I would've had HGTV when I bought mine!

Depending on the yellow you can...

Try a nice chocolate leather brown couch, w/ yllw throw pillows.
Try a nice velvet brick red couch, with brown throw pillows
Try a nice denim couch, with yellow & brown throw pillows.

Happy Decorating.

I think the Rose Pueblo would be great, and see how they use it with beige and yellow?

Yellow and Rose are a hip new combo

I think a deeper color couch in a neutral would be nice. I'm partial to chocolate brown.
If you want color...a primary color would work well.

its a big expense so i would say something neutral so that you can change your decor without having to change your couch next time
