No it is not, it's really just trying to end prejudice, by enforcing prejudice. Problem is, nobody has a better solution other than getting rid of it and hoping for the best. Although I would be all for getting rid of it...

I don't buy it for one second either. If person "A" is qualified, but person "B" brings the quota up to par but isn't qualified, then heck no "B" should not be qualified just because of the color of their skin.
What's next? Brain Surgery by someone who isn't qualified but is allowed to work as one because of their skin color?

I don't care if someone is black, white, yellow, green, or polka-dotted, if they are QUALIFIED via experience & education, then let THEM work.

In a situation where standards are lowered to hire more minorties, then no.
