I've been with my boyfriend for about two months now. His birthday is coming up soon and I was thinking that it would be a perfect opportunity to tell him how much I love him. Since we met we have spent every waking hour together and we don't seem to get enough of eachother which is normal for a fresh relationship. My problem is that I don't want to scare him away by telling him that I love him. For me it was love at first sight. I don't know if it is too soon to tell him I love him... is it??? when is the right time... what if he does not tell me he loves me back ??? err I'm in a puzzle HELP!!!

When you feel it in your heart. You owe it to him to let him know how you feel . And so what if he doesn't say it back. My husband told me that he was in love with me way before I fell in love with him.. It took me time. I stayed with him and a couple more months down the line I finally told him I loved him..But anyways what a birthday present he will never forget for someone he has spent every waking moment with to tell him she loves him.. GO FOR IT!!!!

There is never a wrong or right time to tell someone they love them. I would be careful in this situation because he might not say it back. 2 months is a short period of time. I would really wait for him to say it, just because guys are different about their feelings and emotions. But, if you really feel like you need to tell them, then do. "Be who you are & say what you feel....Because those who mind don't matter, & those who matter don't mind" ~Dr. Seuss~ Hope this helps.

well,to answer your main question, the moment you feel you love someone you should go and say it straight and get to know that persons feelings too instead just making a fool of yourself by going on loving him with out even knowing what he thinks about you.....but better late than never, you have an apt oppurtunity coming up,just go ahead and expree your feelings to him and you have nothing to loose so dont be scared, one sided love is no love at all,so just go ahead and get him!!good luck!!

Give him a little extra loving, then tell him during the glowing aftermath. If he doesn't say it back, then you learned something. Life without risk is not much of a life.

Just tell him! Don't be scared. He probably feels the same way but fears your reaction also. If he was to ridicule you and make you feel stupid for tellin him you really love him then he ISNT worth it and you should then ditch him.

if your ready to tell him then you should, but u must also prepare yourself for him not saying it. If your confident then you could tell him that he doesnt have to say anything back, but you just want to tell him how you feel. Let him know, that there is no pressure

If you want to tell him, tell him. If he doesn't say it back, don't worry about it. He's just not there yet. I know my bf didn't say it back, but when he did say it, it meant so much cuz I knew he truly meant it.

Consider this: if he loves you, he is wondering the exact same thing.
