You are letting people affect YOU. You control how you feel and what you feel. Don't think about them so much. What do you care what they do and say? Tune them out and just enjoy your own company and be happy in your own skin, know what I mean? You will always meet people you won't like or who bother you so if you don't learn the art of coping you will always suffer.

I've always tried imaging. I practice going to "my relaxing spot'. I've practiced for years so now when I feel my job or just plain life getting tense around me, I zone out and go to my spot. I can do this and not lose my perspective on the present. But....practice, practice, practice when you are alone...

Deep abdominal breathing. It's the fastest way I know. Put your hand on your belly and it should rise and lower as you breath. Exhale completely.
