There is a distinction between religions and all should be respected. Everyone should have a right to peacefully practice their respective religion without persecution or hassle. It just will never happen that way. It is no different than the distinctions people make in regards to skin color. All are beautiful and have something special and different they bring to the world. As such no one should be persecuted for that either but you can plainly see it continues after thousands of years in existance.

Not true. I beleive that spiritual warfare has had alot to do with things that are unseen by the natural eye.
What difference does it amke anyway.
Religion was man made, who cares what division it causes.

Oh, it can turn into, well, verbal warfare at the least. But those types of things don't bother me. I've used the term to describe myself before. But, I think out of them all, I prefer Heathen.

"Us vs. them" doesn't need to arise simply from not being part of something. I don't like tomatos, but that doesn't mean that it turns into any sort of warfare.
It's only when people start assigning value to being in-group or out-group that things start to get into problems.

i feel that the basic, original purpose of most religions was to ERASE lines of duality... some people still believe that and understand it. however, most of the time i see religion used to harden those lines. tsk tsk.

we who are tolerant must be tolerant of those who are not. if i want my thoughts, ideas, belief systems, etc. respected then i, in return, need to respect everyone Else's the same way i want mine respected. the reverse is true also. if i ridicule others thoughts, ideas, belief systems, etc. then they in return will ridicule mine.

Some of them like it, like pain-freaks. They say in their little heads; "Thank you Mr.Atheist, please let me have another @ss whoopin for Jesus!" and they eat it up while patting themselves on the back for being a martyr. Sheesh!
