On line you have the option of being in a room with just your computer and a delete button.

In person you do not have a delete button option that make allot of people nervous!

Some people are insecure and don't like themselves . On the computer they don't have to show you who they really are. They can make a false self and even believe they are who the say. It's not a good thing, but, people want to be someone else and on the PC they can feel better about themselves. It gives them a false sense of security.

Most are not, they hide behind their one-sided computer monitor and lie about themselves. But, there are some who tell it like it is. I suppose its those of us at work all day, bored out of our minds in the monotany of the workday...we just need something to do...

you need to do a serious reconsideration of the "everyone" part but as far as my exoerience goes "most" of us arent as entertaining in real life ...... and thruthfully would u rather deal with the "real" people or the "seemingly" nice people

For the most part, I am like my on-screen persona. For instance, I am very shallow when it comes to dating, that is no lie.
