Yes, in all Muslim country Government announce that tomorrow Ramadan will start. In Bangladesh there is a moon sighting committee headed by Minister of Religious Affairs and they collect information from remote corner of country if the sky remain cloudy. If moon can be sighted in any place within the country Government announce starting day of Ramdan and similar way annouce the end day of Ramadan and celebrating of Eid day.

there was a little confusion, about the exact day. apparently lots of ppl started there fasting today on the 23, and since my hubby and i were not sure then we and everyone else who also didn't know should start on the 24!!!! Ramadan Kareem and many more!!!!! Inshalla

It is already announce that Ramadan starts Saturday, September 23rd. So in America is the 23rd. They already saw the moon. Ramdam Mubaruk!

I just heard that Kuwait, KSA, UAE & Libya announced that tomorrow, Saturday is the first day of Ramadan...however,my country hasn't announced it yet...but I think that even one country seeing the hilal confirms it.

shaban is 29 today so ramadan is either 23rd sept or if shaban is 30 days tomorrow ramadan will start insha Allah on sunday 24th sept.
