It's just all the little things that you didn't have to deal with when you have your own space, changes. You move in or have a lover move in with you and things are different. They expect more from you then they did before. Why is this?

it sounds like from your end that the thrill of the chase is up for you. from the other end ( your partner) sounds like they are trying to commit to your relationship. if they are expecting more from you it sounds like maybe they are testing the waters for marriage. as in questioning, what can you do for me? will i be living with a slob for the rest of my life? will this person's lifestyle be compatible with mine? this is usually what happens when you move in together. next step is marriage.

My male friend and I just moved in together. He was at my home most of the time anyway. So we just decided to move in together. I had to make adjustments and so did he. I mean I was use to my own space, not sharing the remote or my cover. I had to learn to share and watch things that interest us both. It works. Before we moved in we told each other what we expected from the other. We have had our disagreements but we promised never to go to bed mad. I thought the little things meant a lot but having someone to share the little things with is priceless.

It's b/c suddenly you have stepped into the role of a wife w/o the wife's title. There are things that the two of you can see about each other now, that you didn't know existed before. I used to live w/ someone w/o being married and that is not something that I would do again. After a while the person will get tired of you and really doesn't owe you anything(such as faithfulness, respect etc) b/c you are not married. If you love each other enough to shack, respect each other enough to say "I DO"

because, when you are with someone on a day to day basis, everything changes.

there are no more represenatives, now you have met the real person. no one can hide that.

it also takes a while to get used to.....my boyfriend and i have been living together for almost a year now, and i couldn't be happier.....grin and bear it. take the good with the bad, just don't let the bad outweight the good.

have fun enjoy the experience!!!!!!!

Because you finally know now what that person is like at ALL times in their life. It's going to change, it's really a question of whether or not you're ready for that change.

Well, change is a part of life and if u don't change with it, you'll get left behind.

You are much closer proximity now and whenever they feel they may need you for something, anything, they will let u know.

Maybe ur not ready for that much yet.

talk it over w/ ur other1/2 and see whats up

it's very clear , on dating time it's just the time u spend with each other, and each one has his or her own space after that, when moving in it's full time sitution in most cases there no space for any one.

It's called "REALITY"...plain and simple. Same deal with marriage. Once you get papers on each other, life changes (usually for the worst).

I guess you feel that person has a responsibility with you now because you're sharing your lives and you get mad at each other if one of you sees the other looking at another person.
