Well, I watch a lot of documentaries on the A & E network, and their website offers a lot of their stuff on VHS & DVD. Better still, the same company that owns A & E also owns the History Channel, so all of their stuff is available there also and vice versa. www.historychannel.com

Are you a member of Netflix or Blockbuster online? Netflix has a better documentary selection, but Blockbuster gives you free in-store rentals you can use on local dvds. There is a homeschooling site that lists places to get dvds, try searching Ask.com for homeschool dvds. I've provided some other links, too.

If you go into the nearest Virgin Megastore or WHSmith, they have got a selection of DVD and Video Documentaries. I have bought several from both stores, as I don't like buying things over the net - if things go wrong you will have an actual person standing in front of you.

You can pay 17.99 a month for a membership to blockbuster online and rent up to 3 at a time. They have a decent selection. Use what you can, then end the membership.
