Neither. If you are lactose intolerant raw whole milk is better for you. I prefer raw goats milk.

I would go with almond milk. Soy is not the miracle food that people seem to think it is. For one thing it can increase the risk of thyroid disease and unless you buy organic soy milk, it will almost certainly be made from genetically modified soybeans. Aside from all of that, in terms of nutrition, Silk brand soy milk has about 100 calories per cup versus 60 for a cup of Almond Breeze almond milk. There are 4 grams of fat in the soy milk vs. 2.5 in the almond milk. The soy milk has more protein and slightly more calcium (7 g. protein, 30% calcium vs. 1 g. protein and 20% calcium.) Almond milk also has a lot of vitamin E. In terms of taste/texture If I were to choose one to put in coffee I'd probably choose the soy but for regular drinking I'd have the almond milk. Hope this helps.

Soy, hands down. Better nutrition, less fat and calories, easier acquisition, more choices. My husband and daughter are both allergic to dairy. They like the Kirkland brand (Costco) vanilla and Silk chocolate flavors.

Soy is very nutritious and is recommended for a milk substitute, especially for babies. I would stay away from almond milk because nuts do contain a lot of fat, and you're only supposed to eat them in small quantities. Soy, on the other hand, is low fat and has been shown to prevent cancer, etc.
