From what I've heard from my wife (who has been on several cruises) Carnival Cruises are very good for families. Plenty for the adults and children to do on the ship. Wish I had more details, but that's about all I know...

Definitely yes! Carnival is the most popular cruise line in the world, so you can be sure to expect the time of your life! I went on the Carnival Glory in September, and it was fantastic! Loads of shows and activities for you! The Lido deck is always a great place to relax (especially in the more remote corners of the deck where there are less people). You MUST watch the nightly shows; they are amazing! Also, there is food, food, food. Be sure to watch your belly (grow)!

For your kids, there's a teen club that they can join. There's a large area totally dedicated to kids (and some of the young-at-heart =P). They have games and dancing, and it looks like a lot of fun for them.

I promise you that you won't want to leave when it'll be your last day on the cruise.

We won't take another carnival cruise. I've been on two of them and this last one was so horrible that we will never even consider them again. Most of the people on board were very middle america never been out of the country or traveled type. The food is basic sizzler food. While there were some nice guests, many were complete trash and their Children were completely out of control (as were the parents). Basically the crowd was drink Budwiser, get drunk, and act like a frat boy or a COPS featured 'actor'. Portions of the ship stunk like raw sewage. The staff ranged from nice & competent to rude and flakey. Carnival is the cheapest cruise line and so it attracts a certain type of traveler. Whether that's a rowdy young adult or a never been out of Iowa couple, it just wasn't for us.

I love Carnival Cruise Lines! The rooms are wonderful and the staff has always been very helpful. There is plenty for everyone to do on board. I can't tell you the specifics (I want to say they call it Club Carnival but that might be for the younger kids), but they have games, scavenger hunts, parties designed for children of all ages. Plus there is plenty to do when you pull into ports. I think the excursions are a little pricey (but they might be just me), especially when a lot of the time you can find locals (cab drivers, people in port selling the same excursions) for like half the price but be sure to use caution doing this.

I sailed on the Majesty and the Valor and enjoyed myself immensely every time! You're going to love it!

YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT!!! I've been on Carnival in the past and I absolutely love it no questions asked. Yes everyone has there own opinion of what cruise line is the best but I was treated with respect, killed with kindness and the food & entertianment was awsome! Pack light, bring extra cash, and be ready to have the most relaxing vacation with carnival of your life! Im cruising in December so I cant wait lol.

I have never personally been on a Carnival Cruise but I have a friend who will only go on Carnival. He claims it's the best he has been on. Granted, everyone has an opinion, but he seems to be very picky and if he likes it, then you probably will too. The one I can't stand it RC...never go one one of those. But Princess is good too if you ever decide to go on another one.

I know people who had went on a couple of Carnival Cruises and really enjoyed themselves. Most of the cruise ships have movie theaters and different other types of activities that your teenagers can do. Just get ahold of the cruise's activity personnel and ask them to give suggestions that would be best suited for them

Lucky you! Carnival is awesome! If you have booked a funship cruise there is lots and lots of things for teens to do, Swimming, Movies, Dancing, Video games, Basketball, and food, food, and more food, any time day or night. I'm sure you will all have a great time.

So much fun. I took a Carnival Alaskan cruise. It was so much fun being on the boat, we only got off for a few hours at each port. There is always something to do for any age.

i haven't been on a carnival cruise personally, but my momma and dad used to go all the time. from what they tell me, they are so much fun, and there's plenty for kids to do. they didn't get into any specifics (i guess they didn't want to make us jealous that we didn't get to go), but i would definitely go on a carnival cruise given the chance.
