I've never tried it, but I imagine souix, or puff would be better fied. mmmmm, you've got me on the munch now.

No and Yes, If it has been cooked as a pie and you want to warm it up, then just put it all in a frying pan, without adding any fat or oil and simmer like you would bubble and squeak. But NO not on its own

Yes you can...although I don't know why you would want to....as long as you are very careful with it, it will not fall apart....if it does, try using a little more starch in your shortcrust recipe

why on earth do you want to do THAT eeewwwwwww no way. Ya can deep fry filo pastry but other than that I doubt any other pastry will fry okay

surely, you could. in case you do not opt to apply the frozen crust you've, bypass to the food market and purchase a Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust kit. It incorporates 2 crusts -- one for the bottom and one for the suitable! solid luck! Dave
