I can't seem to find a religion that's not atleast a bit funny or just so scary that the only thing i can do is laugh at it.
What's your religion, is it funny, scary or both?

Las Vegas Steve: That's what i mean, EVERY religion is funny, some are just a bit more clever and share their religion to people they trust and don't force it down on everyone.

Some of what I believe is so odd that I know others would laugh and I would laugh with them. My personality is so logical, so business like and yet my spiritual beliefs are 'fanciful'. These beliefs very surreptitiously made themselves known to me, they crept by my logical defenses. And that is funny to me.

Religions reflect philosophy , beliefs, the ways of behaviour of related culture. Off course You can always find some thing funny in other people's belief, behaviour and simply reasoning , religious or not.
I dont find my religion neither funny nor scary. But while we are on the subject , not all atheists are really very logical either, as someone suggested above. This assumption itself is not very logical. This YA itself will show you intelligent people of every group, religious , atheists, whatever. And idiots of every group.
For one thing , only a few atheist on YA have notable knowlege of Hinduism. I read some atheist commenting Hinduism is ignorace of past and illiteracy. A lot of them dont know the difference between "Veda trayee" and ramayana.
They , dont know Upanishads and dont know how many schools of philosophy are in India and Hinduism. Yet they feel they qualify to criticise just bacuse they are atheist.The best they do is to take cheap shots at Icon worship, satee system or Caste system. And simply ignoring (whether deliberate or they really dont understand) the reaons why and how these things evolved.
My point is that I find it "funny" that some atheist feel they are smarter just because they are "atheist" !

People within a religion can't understand how people outside view them. They can't see from anyone else's point of view. Religion blinds people to truth. They can't know if their religion is funny to others.

my personal Religious Belief System although serious to me would definitely cause my family to cringe with distaste because of my personal idiosyncrasies while causing others to question " what the
*** ---- **** does he believe this way for ? " others would just down right laugh in my face.
