He just recently moved away (sept9'06) but I really need to talk to him about something. I'm thinking he's still trying to get situated, but I don't want too much time to pass, since I want to talk or be honest with him about something.
If I get his voice mail, what kind of message should I leave letting him know I have to talk to him about something, but not too much that I freak him out?

You seem to be worried about freaking him out. That makes me think that the subject is something heavy; if not for you, at least you think it will be for him. Him moving away it probably is something like you are more serious about him than you previously thought, yada yada?

In any case, just leave a short message saying you'd like to talk with him and suggest that he calls you back when he has 15 minutes free.

Oh, if I guessed correctly, then his reaction tells all. If he avoids, freaks, or gets angry, then he doesn't feel the same way.

Well, you just can say that you really want to have a moment with him about something that just came out. And that he doesn't have to worried; and that to give you a call back as soon as he gets a free time.

Now, the more time you spend with yourself alone the better you can think things. And if it helps; write all your thoughts about whatever you want to talk to him, and read them over and over in case you might miss something that you want to tell him too....

Good luck

Well if he is your boyfriend he is suppossed to be there for you in the good times and in the bad times. Moved away because he had to or because he is looking for some time apart from each other. I would call my boyfriend or send him a tex on daily basis just to remind him how much I love him and how he is the best thing that ever happen to me. We talk daily over the phone even if its for only 5 minutes, I wan to hear his voice and he wants to hear mine. I would call him, and just tell him, to call you back cuz you need to speak to him period.

Just leave a simple message that tells him to call you at his earliest convenience. Don't say what its for or you could possibly freak him out and he won't call you back.

Leave a message saying that you need to talk to him and could he please call you back ASAP? Leave a PS saying that it's nothing bad, but you just want to talk to him. Tell him you miss him if you really do, to reassure him. Good luck!

Try something like this: "Hi! I hope you're liking your new place. When you've gotten settled and have a couple of minutes, I'd really like to talk to you about something; give me a call when you can. Bye."

Seriously, you need to chill out. Don't make this such a big deal. If you're freaking out about something like this, maybe you've scared him off already.

Relax!

If leaving a message like 'call me' doesnt work, you're wasting youre time to begin with.
