Squeeze lemon juice, sprinkle parsley flakes and salt over the fillet, then throw under the broiler for a couple minutes!

OR

4 salmon fillets (4-6 oz. each)
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced (from a jar will work)
3 tablespoons ketchup
3 tablespoons sugar
1 lime, juice of
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
Heat grill or broiler.
Combine 1 Tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp ginger in a plastic Ziploc bag; add salmon fillets.
Set aside to marinate about 10-15 minutes.
Combine remaining soy sauce and ginger with ketchup, sugar, lime juice and hot pepper in a bowl.
Stir briskly to dissolve sugar.
Remove salmon from marinade (discard the marinade).
Place salmon on grill or broiler and cook 5 minutes.
Turn it over and cook up to 5 minutes more, basting frequently with sauce.
When cooked through, remove from heat and drizzle with sauce.

Try making salmon with lemon dill sauce. I am making it tonight. It is really easy. Just marinate a salmon filet or steak in lemon juice, fresh garlic, and fresh dill. Allow to marinate in a plastic bag at least one hour. Turn your oven to broil, and place the fish on a baking sheet, right up on the top rack directly underneath the broiler. Broil it for 10 minutes or until it flakes. Meanwhile, sautee some garlic in olive oil in a small saucepan. Add a few tablespoons sour cream, some lemon juice, dill, worchestire sauce, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer about 10 minutes, then let sit to thicken. After you take the fish out, turn the oven to bake at 350 degrees. Put the broiled fish in a casserole dish, and pour over the sauce. Return to oven for about 5 minutes. It reheats well in the casserole dish so it's easy to make ahead. Garnish with fresh dill and lemon wedges. Good luck!

Salmon. Place salmon (or any fish) in a piece of foil or parchment papaer. Melt butter, dill, garlic and salt. Pour over salmon. Seal up the foil or paper to make an envelope. Bake for about 10=15 minutes on 300 or 350.. Or barbecue for about 10 minutes. Salmon is great raw, smoked, pickled, salted, barbecued, tossed in a salad or sliced on a bagel with cream cheese, capers and red onions.

If you have never cooked fish before, start easy. Get some filets. place in a small baking dish. salt, pepper and garlic to taste. Use a thin pat of butter or margarine or a drizzle of olive oil on the filets. Place in a preheated oven...350 or broil....It only takes a very small amount of time to cook...2-7min. depending on the size and amount of fish. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on the filets and serve. Season fish to taste. Wrap thoroughly in tin foil so it's completely water tight (at least two layers). Place on top rack of dishwasher. Run through complete cycle. Fish should be ready to eat. This serves double duty as you can also do a load of dishes to put your fish on to eat.

bake it in the oven. Spray a pan with cooking spray then season the fish as you would like. Bake it at 350 degrees until it seems done. flaky cooked through, etc. It doesn't take long at all to make.
Also if you grill it you can wrap it in foil with lemon wedges salt pepper etc.

try this! buy medium to large fish, semi-cut horizontally & clean the stomach. then make lots of thin slices of tomatoes & onions. put it inside the tummy of the fish. then wrap the whole fish with foil. then broiled it. its very great tasting combining the taste of tomatoes, onions & the natural salty flavor of fish.
