Well, you do not want to pretend to be someone that you are not - false advertising will just tick the other person off in due time when they discover your true self.
But on the other hand, a little mystery is sexy, and you probably do not want to overload the person with too much information up front.
Most women seem to enjoy the process of getting to know someone new, so instead of ruining the mystery by dumping your entire life story on her at a first meeting, maybe you should let her discover who you are gradually.

I don't think you should ever be anyone else but you. if you try to be what someone else wants you to be then you are denying your true self. Eventually you will get tired of putting on an act and then the real you will come out. This person will look at you and say I don't even know you. This is because you never let them see the real you. They would be in love with whoever you created, not you. So it's always best to just be yourself. You want someone to like you for who you are. Don't try to please other people by being something you are not. You will only end up unhappy! Trust me, I know. I used to think I needed to be what other people wanted me to be, that way they would like me. But then it got to the point that I wasn't happy, I lost myself in the process. Forgot who I was and what made me happy. I spent so much time trying to make other people happy that I forgot about myself! It's gotta start with you! Love your self for who you are and don't ever try to be something your not.

Gradually. It's not possible to hand out a resume to someone you like and expect it to be an accurate account of oneself.
We're not machines, we're emotional, physical humans and we need to experience one another. The person who you really are?
Ever-changing, ever-evolving hopefully for the better day by day and the person who you are coming to know learns something from you and you learn something from them. You are also who you are in response to the person youre with.

Gradually. I woldnt lie about who I am, but I wouldnt be up front with someone I dont know. I would let them get to know me little by little and if they gain my trust, then I could even share with them my deepest fears.

I'm the kind of person that is what ya c is wut ya get
there is no real benefit to hiding who/what you are if you are truly looking to find real people, lovers or friends
If u try to be what u think someone wants u to be then the whole relationship is based on a lie from the get go.
Be the wonderful you that you are and the rest will take care of itself

Well, I wouldn't fake who I was... but it'd still take time to gradually see all sides of me. I wouldn't let everything out, but like I said, I'd still be genuine.

Be upfront! It is all going to come out at some point and I would rather know right off the bat rather than months down the line.

Be up front. It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who they think you are.
