Just about broke every commandment in the book,
But with the Grace of God I have been forgiven.

Forget a "judgement day" after you've died -- this is the question that everyone should ask themselves every single day while they're ALIVE. We all only have a short time to live, and we should be thinking every single day if there's something we can do to make the world a better place, if we're acting to be kind to others, to help the ones we love, and to set an example for those who look up to us. There's no need to have a fear of god or an after-life judgement day to continually examine the worth of one's life while you're still alive!

I've lived it fixing up the back yard. And that was just in the past year. Before that we didn't even have a house.
Then one day I said to my wife "If you are saved, then what is the point of Judgement Day?"
"Why would Jesus bother with the whole Judgement situation (that talks about in Revelation and elsewhere) if the ones have gotten saved are saved, and the ones that aren't saved aren't saved; and you and certain others can even sin without fear of hell...?"
I don't have to tell you, there are religions that believe that stuff. There are many ways to believe nonsense, I know of at least two of them. Either you get judged after you die, or you have a pass card and after you die go into eternal bliss.

I don't believe in a "final judgment," but if there were such a thing, I would answer...
I have endeavored to live an honest and honorable life. I have laughed often, but never at injustice or another's sorrow. I tried to right as many wrongs as I could; build instead of tear down; and live thoughtfully, balancing my needs and wants against those of others. I have tried to be a good person, a good citizen, a good husband, a good grandfather, a good community leader, a good Humanist.
I have made many mistakes, to be sure, but I can honestly say that I have given my best effort to living a moral, principled life guided by reason and compassion.

Bottom line be a good person to ourselves and to others and NATURE and this "Judgement Day" thing will sort itself out.
KISS principle makes all so much easier.
Stick with the basics and someday big business may come around or as we all know REVOLUTION play nice first

Well, once I got over my surprise that such a day existed...
"The best I could do with what I was given. If that's enough and we're cool, awesome, good to meet you, mindblowing to finally know the truth. If that's not, then you're not worthy of my praise anyways. Don't bother getting up, I'll find the gates myself."

I pissed it away for the most part, like the teaching in Ecclesiates 2:10-11. But if you want the real stuff that REALLY COUNTS, tune into Romans 10:4! Yeah, 10:4, good-buddy!!!

What judgement day?
My life is my own. I might listen to others who are close to me if they object to anything I'm doing. I might consult the advice of others on various issue. And, I do appreciate the support of friends and welcome constructive criticism.
However, the ultimate judgement of me is by me.

Made the best of it. Done some really good stuff and enjoyed it too.
Better than a lot of christians who have worked so tirelessly to put down others to make themselves feel good and godly.
