If it's really bad, you might want to talk to the vet and see what he recommends. "Puppy breath" is usually just a normal thing and goes away with time, but sometimes there are other underlying health reasons for a really bad case of PB. When in doubt, have it checked out.
Some people say that chlorophyll or charcoal biscuits help, but personally, I've never found that they make any difference. Again, talk to your vet before you do anything.

i believe u may be experiencing puppy breath which usually goes away at about 3 4 months old. if u think its more than that there r several different things u can try. make sure the puppy is on a good brand of dog food like nutro or authority, you can try greenies which help clean the teeth and freshen the breath, you can buy doggie toothpaste in flavors such as poultry, they also make a breath spray for dogs and u can find any of these items either @ petsmart or petco.

Trust me on this one...as I have tried everything. Go to Walmart and in the doggy treat isle they have SAMS treats. They come in a yellow bag, they are triangle shaped treats. The treats themselves are green and yellow. They work GREAT. I keep them in a jar on my counter. Break into small pieces for a pup, one should last a few days. Also, skip the human food, that adds to smelly breath. If hes a pup he may be eating poo. Also be extra sure he's not eating something around your house that is bad (chemicals, plants etc) because normally a pup of that age has yummy puppy breath.

They sell dog breath mints at Wal-Mart. They are also all natural, so they should be ok for your puppy. Might want to get some hard dog treats also. They will help keep the stink off his teeth.

1) Use kibbel and not soft food. Kibbel cleans its teeth.
2) Give him doggie breath treats/greenie bones.
3) You can brush your dog's teeth and tongue with special dog toothpaste.
4) You can buy spray (at Petsmart) to freshen your dogs breath/fight plaque.
5) Keep him away from people food.

You are experiencing "Puppy Breath".
Unfortunately, you have to wait a month or two for it to leave on it's own. It's normal for it to smell like that.
There are mints for dogs if you find it that offensive.

They make toothpaste for dogs. You could use that. I'm not sure if you can use it everyday. My dog had really bad breath but we just started to brush his teeth and it got better.
