I'm a foreigner. How can i join in a charity to help to look after orphan child. I live in Welwyn Garden City, Herts. I try to find the nearest that comfortable for me.

Call the one that you wish to volunteer at and inquire about the rules and regulations, they may require paper work be filled out /back ground checks etc. good luck

Yes of course you can volunteer but the only stumbling block you May have is that when children are involved everybody has to undertake a Police check

you will need to go through a police check to work with anyone who may be vulnerable, which can take months, why not volunteer at a charity shop or something like til you have a police check completed.
