I've just started Bikram Yoga and am wondering if anyone has had great weight loss success with it. I'm enjoying it for now, but I don't have an enormous income and want to make sure that it will be worth the money.

Thanks!

I love it, but I also have never heard about it used for weight loss.
what works great for weight loss is Callanetics, amazon.com $25
in 3 months you will shed a couple of people off of your frame.
and of course don't drink anything but water, a lot of people don't realize they drink 1000 or more calories a day and wonder why they just can't seem to lose weight. low fat, high fiber, lots of fresh fruits and veggies too.

I worked with Bikram, himself, and became more calm, limber and felt better about myself, but have never heard of it being used as a weight loss program. Obviously, if you become involved with the Bikram's beliefs in clean mind, clean body, you will watch your eating habits, but his teachings are used for flexibility and relaxation - not weight loss, per se.

I haven't tried it, but if it doesn't work out & you're still looking to lose weight, try the Biggest Loser DVD. I bought mine for like $8 & it's the best workout I've ever had. Good luck!
