I think that before too long sufficient people will become educated to the fact taht fast food is very unhealthy. Insurance companies will start charging more to people who eat fast food, because it is the source of so much illness.
Once people get a little older, and start to be ill, they will educate themselves, and will also educate their kids, so junk food will go out of fashion.
I am sure this will happen before any robots appear on the scene.

Y'know, I could actually see this happening. Maybe they wouldn't do it at ALL their restaurants, but I could see "self-serve" fast food joints catching on.
You'd just step up the counter, input your order using a touch screen monitor and wait for the food to arrive (possibly via a conveyor belt or some such thing or maybe they'd still employ a few people to bring out the grub).
The fast food companies would save millions in employment costs and, let's be honest people, it doesn't take a genius to push the buttons on those cash registers at Mickey D's (or Wendy's).
Sure, customer service will suffer, but, again, in all honesty, it's not that great to begin with.

YES! Why are sometimes food in fast-food places don't usually come the way you ordered? Because the human workers are hating themselves for working there and most of them couldn't get out because they did not finish their education! Their negative emotions are getting in the way of their tasks! Robot workers? The future of service! But of course, there's got to be at least one human supervisor to see if the robots are in excellent condition.

Who knows? They have monkeys picking tea leaves and they think that justifies charging $135 per pound for tea that touched the hands of an animal that actually enjoys slinging poop when angry or aroused. same hands, same thumbs... $135.00
GROSS!
I think however, that I would prefer the monkey's to the teenagers and college students they have their now. I do not eat at fast food restaurants because of the workers and I would not buy tea from monkey's for almost the same reasons... Im for robots! I hope they do soon! I actually miss Mickey D's, but I refuse to eat there...

Depends on how you define "robot". A lot of them already use an automated drink filling machine that lets the operator set it and walk away to do other tasks. Would it be hard to develop an endless belt that carries a bun under condiment dispensers, then drops on a burger or piece of fish or chicken, and then a bun? Some talented engineer is already working on it, I bet.

I think that automation, not necessarily robots, is inevitable in fast food restaurants. It could be done today without much difficulty but I don't expect it to happen until the machinery is cheaper than someone on minimum wage.

Yes they will and soon. Right now McDonalds is using outsourcing for taking orders in some of their western stores as a trial thing, and this is just ahead of a total automated store.
So if you hit one of those McDonalds your order outside (for now) will be taken by a resoursed person in india, or china, or mexico ect.).
The inability of American workers in some areas to communicate virbally so that people in the driv ethu windows can understand them. are making this neccessary

Yes...
Right now it is still cheaper to use humans but 20-50 years down the road we will be seeing robots working in our place making burgers and fries. I can see them whipping up a cafe latte as well (in the future).

Yes.
As soon as big business finds an efficient and less expensive way to conduct business without the intervention of human beings, it will do so. Think of all the payroll and benefits money it will save. No more job interviewing, no more grievance meetings, no more paid vacations, no more hygiene issues at the distribution level, etc.
Yes - its inevitable.

Well, if they boot the illegal immigrants out of this country, they'll have no choice, but to use robots. But, it probably won't be what you're thinking, a robot like "Rosie" from The Jetsons. It'll probably be just more like the computerized versions they have now.
