Firstly, do you believe in luck? From your question, it seems the answer is pretty much yes. So, let's take the assumption that you indeed believe in luck... If you go through such a phase, then you ought to find something that you feel will really cure of your bad luck, like a crystal or anyhing for that matter, as long as you believe that it'll help you out.
On the other hand, if you DONT believe n luck, but are using the phrase 'bad luck' because you find it so oftenly used, then firstly, find the reason why such hapenings occured, the root of the problem, before blaming anything on your luck. After you do so, you'll find that you were wrong to blame you luck for what happened, and you'll eventually realise that it was just a permutation & combination of something going awry, rather than happening smoothly, that caused you to curse your 'luck'.
There is no such thing as luck, success and failure are a part and parcel of everyone's life, and remember, you're not the only one who goes through problems (we tend to call problems our 'bad luck') and everyone in this whole world goes through the same.
Just stay positive, smile, be on the lookout for a joke or something that'll make you laugh, crack a joke, watch a sunset... You'll find all your problems fading away...

We all have times when all goes wrong no matter how hard we try . This too shall pass . The old saying that everything must change. You will have streaks of good and bad luck. Don't rely on luck to rule your life and what you do with it because you cannot predict when you should have good or bad luck. I find that in life preparation helps get thru life more than thinking of luck good or bad. Yes lucky things do happen but preparation is more predictable and rewarding. I wish you good luck and more so be prepared for your daily life. :)

Bad luck is not merely accpetable as a stroke of luck, but it is influential to ones mind and thoughts if Karma gonna get you type of thing exhists.
Coincidence is 75% of the daily avtivity 25% to happen upon something good or bad.
The odds of you getting hit by a car greatly depends upon how you conduct yourself as opposed to how you would not allow yourself in that postiion to be hit and how you drive makes a big difference. Your odds will change frequently as the minutes tick on a clock.
Put yourself in harms way and your odds decrease versus stay away from the happening and the odds increase.
so to answer your question after analyzing this luck;It is better to look at life as a happening that occurs every second of the day wether your there or not. Your subject to be hit by anything at anytime as long as you are up and walking about. It is not bad luck or good luck that occurs it is a happening so watch where you step next time, you step on a hundred dollar bill, but if your not looking for it, you will pass by and someone else will pick it up.

Begin to make good choices in your life. Think before you act. If bad luck still happens, count yourself as being part of the human condition where bad luck seems to occur, especially if you are on a self-destructive streak inadvertently caused by yourself. Examine your life and make some positive changes. Good Luck! (excuse the pun.)

Surround yourself with positive people; their energy will surely rub off on you and give the that much needed "boost"; Just remember, tomorrow's another day; I had a streak of bad luck a few years back that actually lasted for as many years...meaning, within 3 years or so, my mother and brother died within 2 weeks of each other in unrelated incidents; my father got Alzheimer's, my son's father died, my grandmother died, I had cancer, I found out a room mate was physically/mentally abusing my then 7 year old son, lost many friends from American Express at The World Trade Center (as well as other friends from my town); But guess what....it does get better with time, prayer and perseverance!

Forget the concept "bad luck" . Dwelling on that aspect can sort of keep the karma going . Tell yourself "that was then, this is now" . Make things happen . Try , try again. Like the old saying goes : " If at first you don't succeed , try , try again ". You can think yourself lucky . There's something to the fact that the person who always seems to say "I'm lucky"-they usually are . Then there are those who always seem to say "I have no luck at all". Guess what ? They never will as long as they keep bringing the bad karma on themselves . DON'T WAIT FOR LUCK TO HIT YOU ON THE HEAD . GO GET IT .

Have you ever noticed that some people have good luck and others don't?
Life is not meant to be a struggle. It should flow with effortless ease. The universe is benevolent. If we would only learn to slow down and romance it a little, the universe will lovingly orchestrate an infinite number of hidden details to cause events and circumstances to change in our lives. Happiness, prosperity, success, love, and much much more will cheerfully follow. Good luck and blessings will seek you and overtake you. You need not do anything.
You would be absolutely nauseous if you knew how much good luck I have in this life. It is discusting. My family has good luck too. I am offering you an answer to your question. It does not require religious principles or beliefs, extreme effort, education, money, or much of anything else. You only need relax and be quiet and still.
I will venture to guess that your mind is constantly racing. There is a never-ending chain of constant thoughts. Your mind is analyzing, processing, solving, thinking, anguishing. That is called your "inner dialogue". If your mind is silent and peaceful, then you need not read further and I am full of sh*t. If your mind is cluttered all day, then read on.
There are a few simple principles to practice that will change your luck. They are not what you may expect. May I suggest you learn to silence your mind?
The Austrian Philosopher Franz Kafka wrote:
-"You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait. You need not even wait, just learn to become quiet and still and solitary.
The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstacy at your feet."-
He is correct.
I do it in my meditaiton. However, it can be achieved by daily walks in nature too. There are many ways to silence the inner dialogue of the mind.
Learn to be more open and life will be easier. A spoon full of salt in a glass makes the water undrinkable. A spoon full of salt in a lake is unnoticed.
In Japan it is called "satori". In China it is called "wu wei". It is effortless action. It is peacefull surrender. The universe will become your friend and ally. Your life will become magic. I promise it works.
May I invite you to read Ancient Wisdom 1 & 2 at http://TaoBarbie.com ? You might find some answers there to help you on your journey.

Bad Luck, is really just a bad situation that lingers to long. Break the time you spend focusing on your given problem(s). Instead do something totally wonderful for someone else. The best way to take away any negative vibe is to share your best with someone who needs a lift. You can make their day and your days will be better for it.
No Luck needed, just goodnees of the heart.

One's attitude has the most effect on "luck". Not knowing what the streak of bad luck is, times of stressful events do align themselves periodically. Knowing that the opposite will also happen will help carry one through the period. This is why attitude is extremely important.
