I believe that the spider that had bitten is not venomous thus no risk of danger,as it takes few hours to be in danger to venom effect.
Now your question about penicillin: if the spider bites got secondary infection and eventually ulcerates into a large surface lesion then penicillin can help to treat. If infection had set in you may have fever. If this is the case then you need to see a doctor. Usually the wound will take between two and 4 weeks to heal but the lesion might take months to improve.

Otherwise as long as the spider was not venomous, the spider bite will just go in short time. Just a few days of tenderness and before you know it, it is gone without any treatment, that is if it did not get infected. You therefore need to keep the bite area clean and betadine antibacterial cream will be of great help.

If you had spider bites just recently however, be sure that you are out of danger from a venom because there are cases that are having the so called delayed reaction. I hope you know what kind of spider is involved to know if it is dangerous or not. Black widow spider and the brown recluse are among the dangerous spiders. No. Penicillin will treat some infections, but the pain and swelling cause by a spider bite is a result of venom -- just like a snake injects, only in a minute quantity.
If the bite is not infected, the penicillin won't make any difference.

Penicillin is used to treat bacterial infections. However, there are only a few spiders that cause a significant enough flesh wound that infection is a concern. In the majority of significant spider bites, the spider's venom is the chief source of concern, and it needs to be treated with antivenom, not antibiotics.

Penicillin, an antibiotic would only be used to treat a spider bite if the bite became infected. Antibiotics are only used for treating bacterial infections.

Dont try to self treat what you think may be a spider bite. It could also be a staph infection. Get seen by a Dr. or clinic.

No penicillin is an antibiotic.
Spider bites contain venom (poison).

no, you want something like benadryl, you can take the pills or I've heard that if you get the gel caps, bust one open and mix it with just a little bit of water and rub it on the bite, it'll go away.
but if its not your common household spider and something like a brown recluse or black widow, go to a medical clinic immediately

It might prevent ( some) infections but it would not work as an anti venom.
