why is being single not so bad? pros of being alone?

pros
bed all to self - no snoring to put up with either
no arguments over whose parents to spend xmas and easter with
freedom to go where ever
freedom to do who ever
peace and quiet when you get home from work
no meals for two to think about
more unpredictablity - you don't know who or what is round the corner
you make more effort - with clothes, looking better etc, cos you're not in a comfort zone
lots of time to self, to chill, listen to music, read
you do more interesting stuff/travel more/go to new places/try different things/go out more
you're more adventurous when you're on your own - cos there's no one to do things for you or hide behind
you're not being cheated on, lied to, messed about
cons
if you get a text message it's from a friend or from the Network
Valentine's day is the lonliest day of the year
sometimes you just want a hug and someone to tell you everything's ok instead of having to face everything alone
you feel like everyone's having wonderful, passionate sex and you are turning into a spinster it seems like the whole world is full of couples
you think that you just don't look like a girlfriend and you will never find a decent man

I have been single alot and I have alot of friend and family. But I still feel loney. I hate being single. I really want to be in love. NO on likes to be alone for ever

Well there is alot more free time I guess. Also the best part of being single is finding a boy or girlfriend. The chase is the best part. Flirting, meeting new people and crushes are all fun

I am alone but I have a good male friend that I am with. I always have the hope that he and I will again be together and be romantic like we used to be. Things have changed.

Seriously tho, he is very fussy and wont settle for anyone less than his expectations.....that is a good thing......

Well being alone you dont have to worry about time.Being here there anywhere for your other.Doing what you want when you want to.No one gets hurt and you have fun.

no one to answer to or be bitched at---better schedule--able to do things with spontanaity----dogs and puppies will always love u--more room in yur closet---less responsibility---keep my spirit free and conform to no ones ideal man!
