1- Acts 2:38- Repent, be baptized in Jesus name and you will be filled with the Holy Ghost
2- Acts 2:4 It is a seperate occurance than salvation. In this passage they were already saved but were receiving the indwelling of the HG as Jesus promised in Luke 24:49, John 7:39, John 14:16-20
When you get it, you know it.
3- Acts 1:8- Power- thats the blessing you receive. power to be a Christian, to live a sinless life and to preach boldly

The correct Identification of the holy spirit must fit all the
scriptures that refer to that spirit. with this viewpoint, it is
logical to conclude that the holy spirit is the active force of
God. It is not a person but is a powerful force that God causes
to emanate from himself to accomplish his holy will..

1. If one, obays to the Word of God, he can get Holy Spirit.
2. When he obays, he can easily identify the difference between the works of evil spirit and the works of Holy Spirit in his personal behaviour.
3. Praise the Lord. These are not countable. The Lord will give every thing to them who obays Him. Praise the Lord.

In the Book of Acts some men got the Spirit simply by
coming to a realization, that opened them up to it.
! Corinthians 12 tells what the gifts of the Spirit are.

You get the Holy Spirit by setting a trap for it. Just dig a big hole and throw all the bibles you can find in it, then cover it with sticks. You'll know if you have it because it'll be lying at the bottom of the hole eating the bibles. Once you've got it, shake it by its boots until it gives you its pot of gold, that's the blessing.

Every born again Christian has the holy spirit of God indwelling them. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved". That is how one is born again. It is a repentance, a turning away from the old life of sin, and learning how God would have you live.
The holy spirit gives wisdom, guidance, encouragement, conviction. It admonishes, teaches, comforts.
And, the things of God are spiritually discerned. Therefore, the spirit of God also gives discernment of His word.
