You should cancel. You risk putting the other person off - people cant help how they react so why take the chance. Phone, say you are really sorry but something has come up (like work, or some moral obligation) and ask to reschedule. If the other person is keen they will be glad to be rescheduled. If not the boil would have blown it anyway. (Never ever at a later time admit you lied about the reason for the cancellation!!!)

If you're a guy - just be brave!
A boil shouldnt put the other person off you! Go out and have a great time and if it REALLY REALLY bothers you put a plaster or something over it

I would go, really. Why? because that would be so freaken funny...just to see if the other person could handle it..and if they didn't mind it, then i'd start crossing my eyes and then strike up a conversation about it. If that doesn't gross them out, then I'd ask if they'd pop it for me...right then and there...lol

call her and tell her that you are thinking of cancelling as you got a FAT spot on your nose. she will tell you to stop being silly. dont not go, if you like her that is. you might not get anther chance.
