What color flowers are you using? What colors are you using? What colors are the ceremony site?

These days your wedding can be any color you want. Just remember to take in consideration the flowers you plan on using. You do not want them to clash.

Rich and vibrant colors are usually chosen for fall weddings but I have seen pastels used.

Check out this site

http://gotomy.com/color.html

it has a whole bunch of colors you can look at.

This site has some color schemes.

I recommend going to a fabric store and looking around. You can take pics of your flower choices and ceremony site to help you. When you find a color you like simply ask the sales associate to cut you a small swatch.

I hope this helps. Congratulations and best wishes for many happy years together!!

I saw some wedding photos of a winter or fall wedding where the bridemaid's skirts were long and were made of a plaid taffeta material - a bit full and with a wide black band at the waist with beautiful white silky blouses with long sleeves and big cuffs. It was so elegant looking.
My son got married two weeks ago and his wedding was lavender and silver with a grapevine theme.
The wedding cake was a small fortune and they ended up ordering a plain white cake with purple ribbon on it. It was so sad looking - they asked me to do what I could to dress it up. I'm no cake decorator - at all! - and finally figured out at the last minute - I went to walmart and found some really really pretty subdued colors of silk flowers on a short little vine. They were flexible in that the garland could bend and stay bent - the flowers were small and cream, light pink, light purple with pretty green leaves. I bought alot of the vines and put one or two around each layer. I also found tiny clusters of purple grapes to set around the flowers and larger grapes to lay at the bottom of the cake. I was so worried it would look cheap but people kept asking who decorated the cake! They said it was the prettiest that they had seen in a long time! I also found tiny darker purple flowers - they were smell silk flower heads and I randomly stuck them in the sides of the white cake. It was so cute. I think you could adapt this idea into many color schemes. But I was very concerned that someone would try and eat it and choke. I took the cake cutters aside and told them not to serve the flowers on the cake. No one, that I know of, fell out because of the flowers. :) hope this helps alittle - although a tad off topic.
For colors - choose ones that you love and the groom likes, too. Some brides look great in white - just awesome but some of us look better in cream colors. I have to wear cream over white due to skin tones. Try on both tones before you decide and see what looks better on you.
Another thought - when you choose your colors think of the flowers that are in season at the time - they are more plentiful and much cheaper than trying to order some out of season! You might go to a florist and ask questions about the flowers and then pick some tones that you like and then go find the dresses. We had a heck of a time finding flowers to go with a dress my daughter chose for her bridesmaids and all that really looked good were out of season. Like you can't get peonies very easily in the dead of winter.
hope this helps a bit.

Maroon, burgundy, mulberry which all fall into that red tone
Sweet butter is a orangeish very light brown
sounds blah but really pretty.
Get a little imput from them to releave some stress from you

Try getting a box of 96 crayons lay them out and start from there see what catches your eye look for something close to that color may not be what you like but its a start ....... there are no rules to bridesmaids dresses but one not to out do you

Try different versions of one or two colors. For the fall, I think darker colors look best. A deep orange (almost burnt) with a darker blue would look nice. Also, hunter green with marigold. They are all fall colors, and can accent with just about anything. Decoration idea: use gourds and pumpkis and waxed fall leaves.

I will be putting all of mine in different pastel colors. My bouquet will have all of the colors from the girls dresses. I'm not talking anything bright, but very soft blues, pinks, yellows....etc.... I think that looks elegant and it gives the girls a sense of not being the same as everyone else in the wedding.

How about going with fall colors. Like the color of leaves. You could use dark browns, oranges, etc. I think a deep brown with maybe an accent of silver or gold would be pretty. You could also go with a deep red like rust. I think anything with a deep color would be beautiful.

I did mine in the fall with black, white & goldenrod yellow. We had sprinklings of the jewel tone red and purple as our ceremony site had red carpet. It was beautiful that time of the year. (ps: I saw someone on answers do a pole of what color guys wanted in a wedding - the majority said yellow, surprisingly enough). My bridesmaids wore black, the guys wore black suit pants, tuxedo shirts and pewter vests. It was very classic looking.

evening wedding or formal wedding- bridesmaids w/ full lenght gowns in black or chocolate brown.

daytime: chocolate brown also works, latte, or champagne.

if you check out the fall line for the designers of bridesmaid gowns (Raylia, David's Bridal, Alfred Sung etc) you may be inspired the colors that inspired them for this season.

hope this helps.

If you are getting married inside do any color you wish. We had a renaissance style wedding and the girls wore black skirts, white peasant blouses and cranberry vests. I wore blue silk for my wedding dress (second marriage)
