So he's my grandfather and I wonder if anyone else can find more information on him. I really want to know about him because he's my grandfather, a very important man in Vietnam and he is also part of my own history. He died in prison after the election so I have no way of talking to him. He also ran for President against Ngo Dinh Diem! But...so far that's all I can really find. I have already asked my mom about him, but I want another source as well. So please help me to find stuff out about my grandfather!!!!!!

If you don't know then don't answer I'm not going to chose you...that may sound mean but it's frustrating to go through and read answers that are no help what so ever!

My Grandfather, Nguyen Tai Dang Minh, was also an important man in Vietnam. You will be hard pressed to find any information on my Grandfather or your Grandfather in Western history books. Your best source will be other Vietnamese elders and going to Vietnam yourself.
I had know the history of my family through the stories I heard from my relatives. These were incredible stories about their lives in Vietnam, escaping from the communists, finding their way to America and raising their families here. None of the stories compare to going to Vietnam and living the experience.
