Well, the guy in the tee-shirt looks like he must be a vampire slayer...but unfortunately, the vampire got to him first, mesmerized him, and is now preparing to chow down on the guy's juicy neck... highlighted by the full moon, right behind the vampire. (Of course, as everybody knows, vampires are a their most powerful, during a full moon.)
The guy looks somewhat like Mel Gibson... probably just a coincidence.

Some people who decide to live for Christ(I'm not sure if Mel Gibson did) say its a dying process. That you aren't litterally dying but mentally you are losing that part of you that keeps you from truly living. It looks like(in the picture) Mel was going to put Jesus back on the cross, but Jesus is alive and no longer on the cross.

It is an older image, not Mel Gibosn, although I suppose it could be him or any of us.
the image represents that Jesus holds up us. And there is nothing we can do that can keep Him from loving us, as long as we come to Him.

Christ is forgiving a person without regard to that person's thoughts, actions, speech, race, religion, etc. the list goes on.
That is a beautiful painting and if, we as humans, really tried we could be the ones holding onto that person.
Not to replace Christ but to really learn his teachings and live by them.
Other religions and beliefs have wonderful words of wisdom to live by and why we don't will remain a great mystery.

I see that picture saying that Jesus loves even those who put Him on the cross. Ehich is a valid statement. All can come to the Lord for forgivenenss if they truly reprent. That is why God is the judge and not us only He knows the heart and if true reptenance has taken place. May God Bless you all

The modern man is carrying a hammer and nail, the same ones used to crucify Jesus, so it's portraying modern man as a destroyer of Jesus, but Jesus still forgives.
I don't particularly care for the juxtaposition of the modern man and ancient Jesus. It seems trite, forced, and simplistic.
Only the technique is good.

A waste of a click on a link.
I suppose the "artist" was trying to make some sort of statement about Jesus supportting the working class (judging from the hammer in the fellow's hand.)
I don't see any reason to give it much thought though.

It reminds me not of the working class, but like many people in this room who continue to nail Jesus to the cross by rejecting His love. Despite our disobedience, He still loves us. Thank you for sharing that picture.

We all a part in nailing Jesus to the cross, but because of His great love for God's creation we all are forgiven of our sins

it seems to be jesus holding up a "working man". I see this man with a hammer in his hand, meaning that he is working class- tired, maybe not wealthy- and all his weight is being supported by this holy figure. the artist is saying that through the struggle, your faith will help you through the hard times..
