You can get everything you need at Target. They even have cute maternity clothes. I didn't need any until I was 6 months along, but most people start showing at 4 or 5 months. I'm not sure on what size you will need, size will vary based on brand. But if you usually wear a large in regular clothes, you will probably need a large in maternity clothes, or medium if you wore medium before.

Well, depending how much body fat you have, I know that being a very tiny woman, I started really showing around 5 months. I couldn't suck it in anymore. Honey, try a baby resale shop. they always have maternity outfits too. A good baby resale will have everything you need from baby clothes, breast pumps, maternity clothes, infant snugglies and exersaucers, johhny jumpers, cribs, changing tables, etc.....Know what I mean? The stuff is usally gently used and doesn't cost near as much as it does in a retail outlet. I think that all smart moms to be should shop at a resale shop because everything will be used up before you know it and you and baby don't need it anymore. If you take good care of the stuff, no stains, etc., you can sell it right back to the store when you are done with it. Hope this helps. :)

Congrats. You can buy maternity clothes at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, JC Penny, Kohl's. I don't know the stores in your area, but these are just a few in Missouri. We even have specialty shops that are just for maternity wear. I depends on your price range. You should always by your pre-pregnancy size. Always try on your clothes before buying. You never know how the cut will be on you. Everyone starts showing differently. I'm 35wks & 3 days w/ my third child. I was showing at 3months. W/ the 2nd about 3 1/2-4mths and my first about 5-6mnths. You never know how fast you will show. My boobs are already big, but good lord, that was the first thing that you noticed, they seemed to have a mind of there own, even my butt spread first, you couldn't miss that either.
Good luck to you.

Next do nice maternity wear- it depends how big you go to what size you buy- at first i'd just buy jogging pants in your regular size- they;re most comfortable- and stretch a bit with you-
everyone is different size wise- my bust goes huge straight away when i'm pregnant and my bump gets big quick to- everyones different- play it by ear and enjoy!
baby clothes can be bought from tescos- they are cheap good quality and pretty- newborns grow so fast- as for larger items go on the we and compare prices- I got my double buggy £80 cheaper on the internet than it was in mothercare!!!
good luck

You may start showing as early as four months, depending on how thin you were to start with. Stay with a size twelve and don't eat for two, eat smart. You can buy your clothes at Target, KMart, Walmart or a consignment shop. There are many new/used shops for maternity and babies that are very clean and well done.
ARC Thrift will give you clothes or necessary baby items if you are in need and can't afford it. (Check on your local store)
Check local yard sales and flea markets, I have purchased new and like new from them at wonderful bargains. And lastly, ask relatives and friends. They often choose to give stuff to someone they know and need it.
Be sure to get monthly medical check ups and advice.

I bought a lot of stuff from kiddicare .com
My boy is 9 months now..
You should buy size 12 maternity clothes... i made the mistake of eating like a horse with my first baby - dont do it.. i now have to go to weight watchers!
Also - my advice is to buy a cotbed not a normal cot - it will last about 7 years depending on the size of your kid of course...
good luck - i guess you are pregnant then??
write back..
