…that you just wanted to think of the most blasphemous thing to say and let it fly.

There is this one poster today who seems to think she has all the answers about the myth of creationism.

What stopped me is that I would be attacking not only this nimrod, but some other christians who are reasonable and decent people.

Is there a way to smash these mental midget who claim christianity with minimal collateral damage

1. Answer the most egregious errors.

2. Try to explain their faults of assumption -- not for them, they're likely too far insulated by their gluteals to understand -- but for others.

3. Take a deep breath and remember they are a minority.

Its quite fun really innit lol Wish the christians had more sense of humour though, thats another thing thats lacking in em, as well as getting angry when you trap em with a question they cant explain haha

I react with both humor and disappointment to the religious at Y!A. I tend to be critical of their ignorant way of posting questions, including the grammar. Sometimes I will correct them like a teacher would an idiot student. But I am disappointed and have to accept that I can't change them anymore than they can change me.

Well, is what's being said stated as a fact or is it what she believes?. The form is open to everyone. I don't like some of the post I see from non-believers but it doesn't make me want to go off on them or anything because I know everyone has a right to voice their opinions.

Not really because if you post directly at or to her she can report you for abuse, personal attacks and such. The best way IMHO is to stay calm and state fact. It really riles them up and the true Christians don't seem to be bothered by calm rationale.

The problem is that they are notoriously anti-intellectual. Education is the key to enlightenment but they prefer to hang on to their myths and legends. It is too comforting for them to believe the myth of god, reality would scare them to death.

Yes, especially the nimrod who posted the whole evolution vs. creationists and didn't even check if the information was accurate. Also any christian who uses the bible to answer questions.

Target their theories, not the person. And if your'e talking about who I think you are, any reasonable christian would thank you for removing an insult to their religion.
