Well, eating greasy food is not the answer. Greasy foods will only get stored away in fat cells and will be hard to work off later. Eating healthy (ex: bread, it has lots of calories) and excercising. A daily strength training routine will help. It doesn't have to be a long one, but like 30 minutes should help put some (healthy) weight on. It's better to lift what you can and not push yourself with a highter weight. Doing 10-15 of what you can is better that doing 5 of what you can't. Also, you might want to try a protein powder with lots of calories for milkshakes. (Available at GNC Vitamin World, and RiteAid.)
Hope this helps. =]

Best way to put on weight without putting on a lot of flab is to increase your caloric intake (but NOT with junk -- you know which foods are better for you than others, so concentrate on the good and eat the bad stuff sparingly) and lift weights. Check out the Discussions boards at the Mens Health website: http://www.menshealth.com/ Do a search on the diet boards for "clean eating" and then do a separate search on the workout boards for "home grown muscle." You'll get a ton of information on what to eat and how to work out to gain muscle weight.

Yea man, EAT. Try going to a nutrition store and get a Mega-Mix kind of protien and calorie drink, one with a ton of calories, carbs, and protien. Throw that into your regular diet to add 700-1000 calories (you can put peanut butter in it and blend it up to make it higher calorie). You'll put on weight. Also, lift some heavy weights. Try doing 6-7 reps with heavier weight instead of 10-12 with lighter weight, it'll make you bulk up.

Hi dear, follow these guidelines to gain healthy weight - Eat nutritious foods that are high in calories. Examples are whole-grain breads, vegetables such as avocados and potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry and fish. - Increase the caloric value of your meals. Add powdered milk to casseroles for added calories, add avocados and olives to sandwiches, add wheat germ to your cereal, add chopped meat to your pasta sauce, and so on. - Avoid skipping meals. Knowing how to gain weight involves consistent eating. Eat three meals a day and at least two snacks. - Increase your normal portion size. Take a second scoop of pasta, or add two bananas to your oatmeal. - Choose higher-calorie foods when given a choice. For example, corn is higher in calories than green beans. - Relax - excessive fidgeting and restlessness can burn up a lot of calories. -Add weight lifting to your exercise program. It helps build muscle mass. - Balance your caloric intake with the number of calories you're burning. You need to be taking in more than you use up, and you may need to ease up a little on your exercise program. good luck :o)

just eat and eat.... eat more than the usual... you can try eating 5 times a day... try to insert two extra meals in between... you dont have to eat heavy on those extra meals, just as long as you nourishes yourself every 3 hours. that's what bodybuilders do to maintain their muscle mass. In your case, you have to eat even extra because your not yet on the maintenance level, you're still way below your ideal weight. Dont forget to choose the food you eat... remember to prioritize protein riched foods. You want to gain muscle mass for added weight not fat. Good luck and Pig OUT!!!
