Which countries are best? and why?

Hi,
It is not just a question of where you travel but how you stay, frankly if you just go and stay in a luxury hotel, then most places are pretty much the same just differing in scenery!
To experience the culture it is best, in my opinion, to stay with a local family, ideally for 3 weeks or more. I have been fortunate enough to do this in a number of countries, both near and remote. Which is the best? Well, excluding countries in the British Islands, which I would undoubtedly be biased in favour of, in my honest opinion, Kenya. I really liked the people there, for their warmth and in some strange way, for being so reminiscent of people at home! Of course in many ways the culture is also very different there which makes it interesting. Japan, was also very entertaining but in a different way, overall not so good. Then of course so was...

Out of the 24 countries I have visited, I enjoyed Switzerland and Norway the best. I loved the scenery and the friendly people. Besides, Switzerland makes the best chocolate and many great cheeses!

I loved them all.. I enjoy the adventure of traveling.. and hope to revist each one.. and as new ones as my life continues

Canada, United States, Europe. Next on my agenda? Asia, Africa and The Bahamas. United Amirates (Dubai) looks really nice as well.

I think it depends what you want. Sure Europe is nice (I've only been to Amsterdam) but my heart is not cloudy. On any given day I want to get some sun. Gotta go to the Carribean, Latin America, South Pacific....

Switzerland is cool, but for me, Australia is the best. Hardly no ghettos anywhere.
