Since '92 or around there it is the Lab. And, has been every year since. There are shelters full of them.
There are 150 dog breeds and they are rated from 1 to 150 every year. Labs have been on top that long.
Portuguese Water Dogs look like Labs if shaved only they don't shed.

That changes year to year. Right now, I think the smaller breeds(and mixes) are very popular. Yorkshires, pugs, etc..
Remember the Dalmation craze? Also- the standard favorites Shepards (all kinds) and Labs.
Right now the big craze is over the Schnoodles, Puggles, Poo shitz, etc...

probably labs, I prefer border collies. I have one and he's such an angel. I also have a mutt, which can be the best and healthiest dogs out there.
