It is good grammar to capitalize proper nouns, like the names of cities, religions, people. It has become more common these days due to peoples laziness, not to capatolize these proper names.

it is on the internet! do u ALWAYS capitalize your name on the internet when sending e-mails, or instant messaging? as humans we are creatures of habit, so what if we don't always capitalize our names? it doesn't mean we don't respect ourselves. but God created everything, don't u think he deserves a little recognition?
