There are many factors that go into the answer to that question, like how long were they above ground before being interred? Are they embalmed, etc. Generally, there are several different "bugs" involved at different times in the process, from blowfly larvae (maggots) to carrion beetles, if they are above ground.

I think I read about heavy metal encased caskets that insects/bugs can not penetrate but as others have answered:
