It should be not problem...this chronic problem is not contagious, is it?

You don't say what chronic ear disease. But since everything I can think of is managable with medications, then yes, you should work.

How do you feel? Are you dizzy? Are you too lethargic to work? How does it affect you? Is the pain too bad that you can't stand it?
