Most definitely! He has a right to know he may carry it. If something should ever happen to you, he should know that he could pass it on. Who knows that maybe one day they will come out with something to cure it- and if he doesn't know he gave it to you..he will never be cured.

It depends on what the STD was and if you have slept with them whilst infectious. If you are starting a new relationship then why not both get checked out now anyway. It may be better in the long run.

Most of the STDs caused by the viruses will stay with the rest of your life without symptoms and it will infect others even though you believe that the same is not infectious.(Eg. Herpes simplex virus, Human papilloma virus, HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.)

Depends.
I'm assuming you got the all-clear before you started sleeping together? (If not, you know the answer already!)
How long have you been with your current partner? If you're thinking wedding bells, definitely tell him, if you've been together only a couple of weeks, or it's just a casual relationship, definitely not.
You know your partner better than any of us on YA, you're probably the best judge as to his/her character and how well they'll take it.

well it depends.... if the conversation was brought up and you feel you have a future with this person than be honest. but I would not volunteer that information for the simple fact you dont know what he is hiding. But if it's something that was cureable and you no longer have it then I wouldn't worry about telling, unless like I said it comes up in conversation.

Better to be safe than sorry. I would tell him that it was years ago and youve had it cofirmed that you are no longer infectious

I would, if a girl told me that I'd be fine with it. But, if I found out myself w/o her saying anything, I may even break up with her depending on how strong the relationship was.

It's better to be honest and fair to your partner. Consulting one's partner is advisable in a sexual relationship.
