Absolutely not! You cannot know anyone in only a week. You have to be friends with someone before you can love them, and it is difficult to know if someone is going to be your friend in just a week. What you feel in infatuation, and there is nothing wrong with that on the surface. But to call what you feel "love" after only knowing someone is a week is a bit of a stretch. Love is a total commitment, a lifelong commitment. If you make that kind of a commitment after only a week you are asking for trouble that could be avoided with just a little bit of common sense and wisdom.

yes you can feel love after only dating for one week. You feel love as soon as you see the person. You can feel what ever you want about someone after any period of time.

Love comes after getting to know a person you fall in love with the person that they are so I believe it can I have felt that before but waited to express my feelings because I thought it was too early to be in love

Infatuation? You bet. Lust? Most assuredly. Love? I don't think so.

In my view, you have to know someone pretty well before you really love them. One week just isn't enough time to really get to know someone. However, if you really "click", that's a wonderful start on a relationship, and it may well become love as you get to know each other better!

Love has no timetable. My parents (20 years ago... and still strong) met and got married all within three months.

It could be love. It could also be lust, caring, or even just a fondness for that person.

Of course it's possible. The first time I SAW my husband I knew I was going to marry him. The same thing happened with my grandparents and they were married for 52 years before my grandfather passed.

No. I can't be love after one week. Well, you can call it love but it's an illusion because there is no way you can know a person well enough after one week to call it love.

Sure you can feel love, even at first sight, though it could also be lust.
